Tekel is operated by FormaNex LLC ("we," "us"). This notice covers Tekel's general website (the home page, Domains, The standard, How it works, Pricing, Providers, the legal pages and the Dental location chooser at /dental) and Tekel Dental in New York and Florida. Tekel Dental in Israel has its own Privacy Policy in English, Hebrew and Russian, linked from its pages.
Tekel Dental in New York and Florida
When you search the directory, use Smart Match, send an appointment request, or create or claim a practitioner profile, we handle more information than on the general website. The Dental Privacy Policy for each state (New York, Florida), also linked from that state's Dental pages, explains in full what is collected, why, who receives it, how long it is kept and your rights, including those under that state's law. When you use a state's Dental pages, that market's own Privacy Policy applies to what you do there.
The general website: what we collect
- When you browse these pages. We set no cookies and run no analytics or advertising tags on them. Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address, browser and the page requested, to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. Fonts are delivered by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it sends them.
- "Use my location." Only if you choose it and your browser asks your permission. Your location, rounded to about one kilometre, is sent from your browser to OpenStreetMap's location service to find your state. We do not receive or store it.
- Your market choice. When you choose a Dental market, your browser remembers which market you chose, on your own device, so that we can open it next time. Nothing else is saved. You can remove it by clearing this site's data in your browser.
- Emails you send us at [email protected] or [email protected], which we use to reply.
How we use and share it
We use this information to run the website, answer your emails, keep the Service secure and comply with the law. We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that work for us under contract: hosting, security and email delivery (Cloudflare), fonts (Google Fonts) and location lookup when you use it (OpenStreetMap). We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to protect people's rights and safety, or to a successor in a business transfer under equivalent protections.
How long we keep it
We keep emails you send us only as long as they are needed to answer you and to keep our records, and longer only where the law requires. We then delete them or keep them only in a form that no longer identifies you.
Security
We maintain safeguards appropriate to the information we process, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure.
Your choices
You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected] with "Privacy" in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep some records where the law requires.
Children
Tekel is meant for adults. Please do not send us unnecessary information about a minor.
